PrithviRaj : He is at his best. Looked macho in the film. His acting is top rate,good underplay by him most of the time. Dubbing could have been better. PrabhuDeva : He got a good character which only he can fits into. Its a cake walk for him.
Arya : Did his best in the brief yet crucial role offered to him. Genelia : For the first time in her career she looked gorgeous for me and awesome performance. never liked her before but this film made me her fan. She did a brilliant job. No superlatives are enough to praise her.
Nithya Menon : She looked cute,her attire is awesome. She fits well in the role offered to her. Infact she did gave a matured performance.
Vidya balan is a sizzler,She looked lovely.Tabu had made her presence felt.
Technical Departments :
Music : Music had the essence of Kerala traditional music, so we could not connect to it easily as we connect t tamil music. BGM also carries the same kerala flavor. But no complaints its fresh for me.
Editing : Editing is jerky. As we know its hard to dub a film from malayalam to telugu as the dubbing sync mismatch is the big problem. There are few jump cuts here n there which made the flow tougher. Coz of this jerky editing it draws your attention completely.
Cinematography : Supported by good VFX work, Cinematography scored the distinction, this stands out as the best next to direction department in the crew. Rural Kerala locals were captured fabulously.
Story-Screenplay-Diretcion : Not sure if this was a fiction or a real story. But the attempt was honest. Screenplay is neat considering its genre. Direction is top notch. He conveyed what he wanted to convey in a splendid way.
Overall ga I can not recommend it to everyone. Some will fall in love with this film as I did. Some will feel it boring. Its for a set of audience. It will have tough time in our B n C centers.Its not a film, its an experience. But I wish you would watch this in theater to feel the essence of urimi.
